Dakota Wokiksuye Makoce (Land of Memories Park)
The powwow committee has reserved the Land of Memories for free camping for the powwow weekend (Friday – Sunday night). If you are planning to arrive on Thursday or before for the powwow, you will be responsible for camping fees. No exceptions!

Section A, B & C: RV, 5th Wheel, and Tent Camping
Important Info for ALL Campers!
Due to space limitations and safety precautions for all our powwow family and guest, the committee has decided to require registration to camp at Land of Memories Park during the weekend.
Anyone who wants to stay at Land of Memories park during powwow weekend, MUST contact and create a reservation with Suzy at (651) 357-0682. Please call to make your reservation between 10:00am CST and 8:00pm CST.
If you make a camping reservation and do not claim your spot by Friday night, it will be released to the next in line for reservations.
In section A and C, there are a number of campsites that have electric w/30-50 amp hookups.
In sections B, tent camping is available.
Please note: Drinking water, showers and sanitary facilities are available to all campers. In addition, a dumping station is available for RV's and 5th wheel campers.
Again, to make a reservation in advance at Land of Memories campground in Section A, B, or C, please call Suzy at (651) 357-0682. Specify to her that you are making reservations for the Mahkato Powwow.
All reservations will be first come first serve – no exceptions. If you do not reserve a campsite in advance, you are NOT guaranteed a campsite or that weekend.
Overflow grass areas are first come, first served, as has happened in previous years.

For those who need more comfort than camping affords, the Mankato area offers hotels and motels to fit nearly every budget, all within minutes of the powwow grounds.
