August Meeting

The August meeting of the Mahkato Mdewakanton Association was held on August 15, 2002, at the Campus Burger King in Mankato. We had a great turnout for the meeting and thank every one who attended. We would like to welcome the new members of the Association.

At the meeting, we finalized many of the details for the Wacipi. The committee heads gave reports and brought us up to date on what had been done, and what remains to be done. We are still looking for someone to help us with first aid. If you can help, please let us know.

We will have one more planning meeting on September 5, at Land of Memories Park, in Mankato. Please try and attend this important meeting.

All of us are looking forward to this year's Wacipi. We hope to see each one of you there.
